(TRACY, CA) – The City of Tracy will host a Building Safety Fair on May 8, at the Civic Center Plaza. The Building Safety Fair is designed to help the pubic with life-saving and money-saving tips when it comes to construction or home improvement projects.
Too many times people choose to build without the proper permits. This failure can come back to haunt homeowners when they try to sell or refinance their homes. Building permits also serve to preserve the investment of homes and the lives of those within them. Other times homeowners looking to cut corners may choose to hire a non-licensed contractor. The result of this act may lead to poor workmanship, the devaluation of one’s property, increased costs over the long run and most importantly, serious injury or death.
