This division provides engineering service related to the design and construction of City infrastructure projects as well as the management and oversight of those projects. The following are the sections within this division:

Engineering Project Review

Reviews and processes plans and applications for the private development of all types of land development, including residential subdivisions and permits pertaining to the use of the City's right-of-ways.

Capital Projects Design

Plans and designs all City capital improvement (infrastructure) projects. Coordinates land acquisition activities necessary for City capital improvement projects and the preparation of assessments maps.

Utilities Engineering

Conducts engineering studies and coordinates capital improvement projects for the City's water and wastewater systems.

Traffic Engineering

Conducts traffic and parking studies, as well as coordinates the implementation of approved traffic and parking control measures.

Construction Management

Manages City capital improvement projects under construction. Monitors and inspects private construction pertaining to subdivisions and work done in the City's right-of-ways.
