The Tracy Arts Commission will again host Music in the Park every Thursday evening during June and July, 2008. The free concerts will take place at 7:00 p.m. at Lincoln Park, located at East Street and Eaton Avenue, Tracy, Calif.

This season’s schedule is:

• June 5th Tracy Swing Band (swing big band)
• June 12th Jeff Bordes & the Jazz Desperados (jazz)
• June 19th Tia Carroll (R&B)
• June 26th Latin Essence (Latin Rock)
• July 3rd Johnny Cash Tribute Band (country)
• July 10th Scott Gates & the Pacific Ocean Bluegrass Band (bluegrass)
• July 17th Mambo Tropical (Caribbean)
• July 24th Cheeseballs (80s cover band)

“We invite music lovers to bring the whole family, along with a blanket and a picnic dinner, to relax and enjoy our series this year,” says City of Tracy Arts Program Manager Theresa Yvonne. “We’ll showcase a wide variety of bands, some old favorites and some new groups, that will offer music for every taste. They’re sure to keep us entertained on Thursday evenings in early summer.”
