2008 GOALS
- Reduce the number of Theft crimes to reflect the overall safety rate in Tracy.
- Accomplish the goals of the Mayor's Community Youth Support Network.
- Create the Youth Service Section consolidating most juvenile service delivery.
- Increase Communications Interoperability within the City and with surrounding jurisdictions; Working collaboratively with all San Joaquin County agencies.
- Enhance the professional development of all staff. Foster greater job enrichment.
- Realize clear, open, and effective communication throughout the agency.
- Partner with Human Resources to integrate industry “Best Practices” relative to personnel matters, and continue efforts to expand and diversify the workforce.
- Remain innovative in the management of our operational budget. Recognizing the fiscal challenge of the era.
