2008 SPRING/FALL CLEAN-UP

Each year the City of Tracy partners with Tracy Disposal Service to host our Annual City-wide Spring and Fall Clean-Up Events.

The 2008 Spring Clean-Up event will begin on Monday, April 14th for Tracy residents residing East of Tracy Blvd. and Monday, April 21st for Tracy residents residing West of Tracy Blvd. The collection pick-up will follow the same Monday through Friday schedule that residents have for their regular garbage pick-up.

The 2008 Fall Clean-Up event will begin on Monday, October 13th for Tracy residents residing East of Tracy Blvd. and Monday, October 20th for Tracy residents residing West of Tracy Blvd.

The Annual Clean-Up Events are free of charge providing you stay within the regulations provided and are for residential customers only.

The regulations for the annual clean-up events are as follows:

Residents may place the equivalent of ten (10) 32-gallon trashcans of trash out on the curb.  All items must be bagged, bundled, or contained.  Each bag, box or bundle must weigh less than 50 pounds.  Tied bundles of tree trimmings should be no longer than four (4) feet in length.  Residents are asked to place items out on the curb the night before your garbage collection day.  Please refrain from placing garbage out earlier than the night before.  Placing items out the night before prevents the illegal transfer of garbage from one property to another.

ITEMS NOT ALLOWED

Universal waste such as batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, computers, and computer accessories; construction waste, cement, concrete, rocks, dirt, automotive parts or household hazardous waste like paints, oils, cleaning products and pesticides.  The household hazardous waste in your home may be taken to the San Joaquin County’s Household Hazardous Waste Consolidation Facility located at 7850 R.A. Bridgeford Street, Stockton.
